"Mercedes Streeter" (smart)

Paying tribute to the amazing woman who built this machine, I named it after her all tim e favourite plane, the L ockheed C-130H. Thus, here is the C-2070H!
We originally felt like Corsair’s RGB was all gimmicky, but we’ve pulled a full 180. These things are darn near infinitely customizable. I went with a pink base for the fans and front panel then overlayed a RGB effect on top. The fans have a raindrop effect. In motion it resembles a nightclub! These pictures don’t do it justice!
The front panel has a sort of Knight Rider thing going on. The pink is overlayed with a colour changing band that darts back and forth.
The front panel supports three fans, so I’ll get two more of the front fans. When I upgrade the CPU I’ll likely go with an AIO cooler with RGB support. This case is brilliantly designed to hide a radiator without compromising the looks. There is a maybe 3 inch gap between the top cover (which has large vents) and the ceiling of the case.
Sadly, we did find out that our M.2 is really just a SSD and not the NVME we thought it was. The box it came in was a bit misleading. Ugh. At least it’s basically the fastest SSD I’ve ever seen.
As for the RTX 2070, it crunches through games so well that most of the time the fans are either off or just one is running.
I can't thank you enough, Madame DeLorean. <3

I’ve spent quite a lot of time hanging out in a C-130 with the deck down. We even had an M-134 on the rear deck to cover us. I think I jumped out of them more often than I ever landed in one.

If you haven’t already , look into the monthly humble bundle. They have project cars 2 out this month for the bundle and last month I got MGS:V and a few others I had been meaning to add. THen you have some slightly older games you can crank the graphics to “LOLWTFOMGBBQ” and get a kick out of how far you’ve come.

Oh yeah, I have a physical copy of GTA San Andreas laying around here. My FSX box can max it without issues and it’s running an IGPU. I bet I can install the biggest graphics overhauls on the RTX machine and it probably wouldn’t even break a sweet. I used to be subbed to Humble, I need to do that again!

Madame DeLorean spent the majority of her adult life thus far as a load master for C-130s. It’s a bit adorable when we get into aviation stuff. She’s a nerd for military aircraft and I love me those commercial a irliners. lol

I spent years maintaining and repairing C-130s (AC-130U/H/W, MC-130H/P as well as many other MDS while on transient MX duty) so no one would HAVE to jump out of one! ;)

You should get that SSD swapped for an NVMe model ASAP. When I upgraded to my new Ryzen system, and my motherboard could handle NVMe properly (the old one only pretended), my boot times dropped from 20 seconds to the login prompt - to like...6 seconds.
Look at the prices on Samsung’s 2.5" SATA SSDs right now, too. I snagged a 500GB dirt cheap at Microcenter recently, and the load times for every game I have on it have gotten so much better. For something that can load as much data as a high end flight sim, you’ll probably see a good chunk of performance boost just from that.
